    Connections

Before I had people knocking on my door for ages and I did not hear them knocking, now i have the ability to know they are there by the light system connected to the bell.
Thank you so much for connecting me back to friends.

    very practical

My father being 94 and home alone has many visitors per week randomly turning up to provide services such as cleaning, medication, meals and carers. He could be anywhere in rhe house and these people are allowed to enter using their code to access the front door. The door bell button sets off the ringer in four locations. Each is set to different volumes with lights flashing but not all with vibration. This is ideal because he knows someone is entering the house and does not jump out of his skin when someone appears from no where. Volume is quiet in the bathroom but in the lounge with the tv blaring he never misses a door entry, nor does he get a fright with too much volume as above.

Hi Guy, thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. We are happy to hear that the different volume and vibration options have worked well for your father's needs. Thank you for choosing our doorbells and we hope they continue to provide convenience and peace of mind for you and your father. Have a great day.

    INDEPENDENCE INDEED

Small things make a great difference to the independence of people with a disability. This is certainly true of a simple, but most effective object - a door bell that alerts with a bright flashing light - which is also portable. An excellent well priced product, shipped in a timely and efficient way.
    Thank you Independence Shop.

My Mother Can Hear This Doorbell

Finally my mother can hear the doorbell. I think it's more the flashing and vibrating that gets her attention. We have bought two and have them paired. One for the bedroom and one for the living room. Works well.

Seniors like to deal with Australian companies.

I am 80 years old and a very strong supporter of Australian-owned companies.

I needed a special "Information Clock" for my wife who has short-term memory loss. I checked several websites and selected The Independence Shop as they are Australian and their presentation was good quality.

They sent follow-up emails and I thanked them for their information and their business style. I will deal with them if we need other seniors-helpers and refer our friends when they need them.

I wish Chris and Rosie best wishes for their future.

I purchased four products, each has proved good value, easy to use and three had no batteries to chase after.
What I also liked was this was a local business with personal delivery which was very prompt.
