    Remove the stress of daily scheduling and task completion

    The CARY Base Reminder Clock can be set to show the daily schedule to help create awareness of the day ahead. As activities are completed, they are automatically crossed out.

    The day plan can easily be hidden in the settings, in which case, events will only appear on the screen as they are due.

    Events can easily be created and edited using the "Calendar" button at the bottom of the screen. This button can also be hidden, so that accidental changes can't be made.

    Remote calendar scheduling

    Create, edit and delete calendar items remotely on your phone or computer using the free MyAbilia Service, included with every CARY Base Reminder Clock.

    Administrator accounts can be created so that multiple CARY Base users can be managed from the one support worker's MyAbilia account.

    Spoken reminder with the CARY Base Reminder Clock

    Not only will CARY Base Reminder Clock speak the time and date,

    • it can also read out the reminders (19 languages supported).
    • In addition you can add a description with each reminder. Example:
    • Reminder Title: "Walk the dog"
    • Reminder Description: "Don't forget dog poop bags"
    • Both of these messages will be displayed and spoken (if enabled).

    Further, you can also record your own voice so that the reminder comes from a familiar, trusted voice.

    Visual reminders and prompts

    The CARY Base Reminder Clock comes preloaded with 118 familiar high quality illustrations to help prompt any given reminder.

    Via the free MyAbilia service, you can also add your own images/photos so that the reminder is specific. 

    For example, add a photo of your actual dog (or a specific pill if it's a medicine reminder, or the actual person if it is a carer or relative visiting).

    Yes, the CARY Base Reminder Clock can be used without Wifi internet. However, connection to WiFi is required if family, friends and carers need to keep the daily plan updated remotely. Remote updates can be made using the MyAbilia web service and app.
    Does the back-up battery need replacing?

    The back-up battery in the CARY Base Reminder Clock does not need replacing. It is incorporated into the reminder clock and recharges as needed.
